The GUTS Jury Selection application provides a solution for jury management that minimizes the time and cost involved in the entire jury selection process.  The system runs on Microsoft SQL 2005 and automates functions that are typically performed manually today.  Jury Selection also provides excellent security features which control access to specific functions within the application in order to keep separate court functions.

Data Import and Juror Selection:
Jury Selection can import juror data from multiple sources including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and voter registration systems including the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS).  These sources are combined and selected randomly when creating a potential juror list.  The juror lists are also maintained separately by court and uniquely named for easy retrieval.

Juror Notification:
With Jury Selection you can create and maintain your initial juror letter and questionnaire within the system.  When the letter is ready to be sent out the juror address is mail merged directly to the letter using the previously selected juror list.

Juror Tracking:
Many features within Jury Selection allow you to track jurors from the initial letter stage and continues through serving on a jury. 

Reports:
Reports for tracking jurors are also available within the system.  These reports can be used to streamline communications between the Prosecutor’s office and the courts.
