Task Automation:
Using the GUTS Clerk Warrants system for electronic warrant exchange automates several tedious manual tasks including filing, date stamping and numbering of warrant docket and page numbers. Returning the warrant vouchers to the State is also done electronically. Automating these tasks gives valuable time back to the Clerkâs Office for serving the public.
Paperless:
The entire transfer and entry process is paperless. This not only saves printing time and postage but also removes the need for storage space for the docket books.
New Warrants:
New warrants and lien satisfactions are downloaded from a secure FTP site at the State and entered into the system with just a few keystrokes. After warrants and satisfactions are in the system they are searchable by date, name, warrant number and business name.
Old Warrants:
New warrants are entered by downloading from the state but our system also provides the ability to enter legacy warrants into the system. These warrants will then be stored electronically and can be searched and cross referenced for satisfaction.
Certification:
The GUTS Clerk Warrants system is certified to work within the parameters set forth by the Indiana Dept. of Revenue for exchange of electronic warrants.
